Hi! My name is Nelly (my old name is Remi, but we decided to change it
because it turns out there was another dog named Remi in the
neighborhood! ) and I have finally found a home that is just perfect for
me! I am two years old and I am ready to settle in for good!
I was happy with my new family from the start. Right when I met them I
was jumping for joy—literally! I’ve gotten better about not jumping, but I
still do sometimes. I have also gotten a lot better at sitting, laying down,
and walking on a leash. I am still learning how to stay, but that takes
time, and I know I’ll get it soon!
I have two brothers. They are cats! I think that they are really fun to be
around, although they don’t seem to feel the same way. I like to play with
them, but they don’t put up with that and run away. We will all be friends
eventually.

I go for lots of walks everyday. I have a great neighborhood and town to walk in! I love it! Not even rainy days stop me from going for
walks; I have a pink raincoat! I also have a tie out in the backyard that I run around on and play fetch with a tennis ball. I love it, and it
really tires me out! Then I can come in and relax on my chair or my bed. I also love to play tug. I’m really good at it too! I never give up. I
have tons of other fun toys too, and I love my treats.
I am very affectionate and I love cuddling. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite! I also like getting brushed and groomed, and I’ve even
had a couple baths. Those were a lot of fun! I behave very well at home and I rarely get into trouble. My family leaves the radio on to
keep me company. That makes me feel like I’m not alone. But when they get home, I am always waiting at the door! I just can’t wait to
see them!
