Hi, I’m Huck and my story starts in shelter in Huntingdon
County. I had strayed from my home and no one came to the
shelter to get me. The folks at the shelter took great care of me
and, lucky for me, they contacted Brookline. See, Brookline
found me a foster home. The people who fostered me drove a
long way to pick me up and I could tell from day 1 that they
were good people because they brought a big box of stuff for
the shelter. I fit right into my foster home and I had a plan.
First, I melted into my foster dad’s lap and was on my best
behavior. Then, I was soooo cute, sweet and lovable. One
thing led to another and my foster home became my furever
home. I have a big yard and doggie friends in the
neighborhood to play with. I go for lots of walks but my favorite
game is retrieving. I will fetch my toys for as long as you’re
willing to keep throwing them. I also love going for rides in the
car, especially to the dog park where I can just run free and
play with the other dogs. Most of all, I’m happy to have love,
attention and a place to call home.
