Hi everyone,
It’s me, Maverick (you know... everybody’s favorite 100 lb extra drooly chocolate lab!), and I have a great new home! I live with a new mom
(Laura), dad (John), and four-legged brother (Sammy)! I LOVE my new home!!! My brother wasn’t too sure about me at first (maybe
because I kept stepping on him – oops), but now we sleep next to each other, play all day, and give each other lots of kisses! I do lots of
fun things in my new houses. I play tug-of-war, take long walks, cuddle with my parents, and play at the dog park every day. I have made
TONS of new friends at the dog park. At first, the other dogs were scared of me because I am so big. Now, they all love to run around
and play with me, and I think that is great! When I come home, I like to pretend I am a lap dog and curl up in my mom’s lap – my mom
doesn’t mind too much. My mom call’s me her adorable, slobbery, shadow because I stay right behind her all day long. At night, I have
a big soft doggy bed that I LOVE – but sometimes I still want to sleep on the people bed, and that is OK too. All in all, I am one happy
pup. Thanks to all of my friends at Brookline for helping me find a great home!
