HI!!!
My name is Guinness and today,
4/25/2010, is my 8 month old birthday! :)
I weigh approximately 82+ pounds---I
keep growing and getting bigger by the
day! My mom keeps telling me how big I
am !!
I began my journey with a family that has
2 young children...at about 5 months,
they decided I was too much for them
and had to go! So, they contacted
Brookline and I was set up with the
bestest foster mommy, Aunt

and had to go! So, they contacted
Brookline and I was set up with the
bestest foster mommy, Aunt
Stephanie! She and I really clicked! Ironically enough, at the end of February , Aunt Stephanie got a call from my new mommy
asking about me. My new mommy and Aunt Steph are very much alike! They are the same age, runners, single...and love labs
like me! Lucky for a guy like me!! OH! And they both enjoy Guinness the beer too! (well, not my mommy---she likes her red
wine!!)
So one day, Aunt Steph had me go to check out my new mommy's house--I ended up staying for the weekend for a trial. It went
really well!! My new mommy was not at all intimidated by the amount of exercise and attention I need. In fact, she is very much the
same way! :)
A week later, Aunt Steph brought me back --this time for good. It was a very rainy weekend, and I was a bit tough for
mommy---she showed her tenacity though and took me to the dog park in the downpour rain and hurricane winds!! :) Mommy
and i really connected that weekend.
The rest, as they say, is history....we are a match made in Labby heaven!!
