Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Jackson and Cody
Cody here, my brother Jackson and I were brought in to Foster Care in August and we got to play with our fur brother,
Harley.  He finally was ok with us crashing his home and warmed up quickly.  Our Foster Mom took great care of us and
got us on our way to great health.  We were pretty low maintenance and lovable.  We got to sleep on dog beds all over,
run in a huge enclosed field and most of all, get tons of TLC.  We started making appearances at Brookline Events and
low and behold, one event, a nice family came out to meet us.  They wanted to take us home that night but FM told us
we had to wait.

Well, the day came and we met our furrever family, we stayed and gave each other a chance. We have two human
sisters, mom and dad that really spoiled us.  We had a wonderful holiday with our new family and Santa even came for
us.  We also got our picture taken with Santa!  (Shhh, he was helping Brookline being Santa's helper), we knew though
since we could recognize that Ho, Ho, Ho anywhere!

So, now back to our home here, we get to go on lots of walks.  I think part of our block is that things are just so boring.
But, that's a "dog's life," isn't it? We feel like we've lived here all our lives.  We are extremely comfortable with our family
and them with us.  We've fallen into a routine that everyone likes.  My brother, Jackson is so comfortable here, he
snores. And for me? Who doesn't love my charming personality?  We still chase each other around the house, I mean
our home, but literally, around the perimeter of the house.  We play, and we play rough now that we are settled.  We love
getting petted, what labs don't love that?  Jackson knows he's the big dog and has no qualms about pushing me out of
the way in an effort to get attention.  We're on new food, and we love it.

Thanks Brookline for fostering us and finding our family, they consider us all family now.
