HOWDY! ! It's me "BUDDY"!!.. NO, I'm not a COWBOY, I'm not in TEXAS, don't ride HORSES...I'm a wonderful Lab, that's what my
forever family is always saying about me..... Hope you all enjoyed the humor above, good!
I know you have all been waiting to hear from me...you will all be very "HAPPY' ,to know I'm finally feeling settled, as it's been a little
while, waiting for a "SPECIAL" loving family to come meet me & take me home..On May 2nd, 2010--- we all met at Lukens Park and I
was so happy to know that this was to be my furrever family......We all stared at one another, at first, you know those first
meetings....talking and all that stuff... ... my new family, there is mom, Debbie and Davie. They loved me right away, I could tell, we
are smart Labs...don't you agree?
Guess what? They brought me a "Birthday Cake " --what a Surprise!!!! They remembered my "Birthday", the only thing was, I told them
I was on a diet, no cake for me...They understood, I was glad about that. I explained to them that when you get to be my age, 9 years
young, a doggie has to watch his calories, huh?? Would you all like to know the
date of my Birthday? May 3rd, in case next year you want to send me a card, money would be real nice, hahahahaha !!!!
Now, I would like to tell you a little about myself, first of all, I want to let my original family know that I'm fine, I'm happy, with my furrever
family and they treat me very well. They are very loving to me. I get lots of hugs and kisses, get petted a lot and they massage me
plenty! Doesn't that make you "Smile"? Mom rubs my ears a lot, it feels real good, it calms me..
GUESS WHAT? They put up a fence for me and believe me that cost's a pretty penny.... but they said I was worth every cent. I do go
for plenty of walks, in the yard, the rest of the family walk me around the neighborhood too. This way I get to see how the other half
live. It's nice to get out & meet the other dogs and humans too.
I hope you all don't mind hearing my life story, as I type, I feel as though I'm on THIS is your life, Buddy Boy......you think? Anyone
remember that show on TV, like years ago?????
I do have many toys, we all play a lot. I get to run and fetch.
Do you want to hear more? Good! Get to sleep on the sofa's and I'm allowed all over the house, how about that???? Great huh???
When everyone goes on the deck, they invite me too, that I like. As for my name, Mom, Davie & Debbie felt they wanted me to keep
my name, so i'm still Buddy.... Besides, when your getting younger, why change your ways & name......you know the saying can't teach
an old dog new tricks, hahahaha!!!!!! Another thing, Debbie calls me FACE at times, cause I'm so handsome they feel my face is
adorable, which I agree...... they love my eyes too....Can I go on? Hope you are all being patient with me, as I just wanted
to share all of what I have to say.... That you all will know how my life is going. I eat well, on a Special diet, you will be happy to know
my ears are being taken good care of...Am I saying too much?
Another thing, I'm real happy about, guess what? I get to go for car and truck rides as they take me often. Mom makes me wear a
harness, "Boy" is she a stickler for safety and I try and please her, best not to disagree, you know what I mean???
So, you see I'm living a full life.... I want to say to the Foster Families who let me stay with them for awhile, now you can be happy for
me, thanks again!!!! TO MY ORIGINAL FAMILY, Mom Davie, & Debbie want to thank you, for raising me to be AFFECTIONATE, LOYAL
and just an all around "WONDERFUL DOG...GOSH, I feel so conceited............. TO MY ORIGINAL FAMILY..............
My family here wants you to know you can stay in touch with me, ok? FINALLY, thank you so very much from the bottom of my HEART,
to all the VOLUNTEERS of BROOKLINE LAB RESCUE ...........for finding me a furrever home... Many thanks to Sue, Jackie, & from
Laura's good tips.....
The lady who made all of this possible, for me, is ROBYN, thank you so much........ you are quite a lady! I know you are happy for
me....You are all a deserving group of people.............
