Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Bryon (aka Brian)
Hi Everyone,

My name is Bryon and I want everyone to know just how happy I am that I now have my fur-ever mommy and daddy. My first mommy
could no longer keep me so she contacted the nice lady Ellen at Brookline to find me a new home. I was so sad and had a few tears at
first, but Ellen worked real hard and found me the best mommy and daddy I could ever want and now I am such a happy puppy!

Let me tell you a little about myself and my new wonderful life. I am a young six year old, 90 pound, quite handsome fellow who was
adopted by my new mommy and daddy. They love me so much. I also live with my new best friend Callie who is quite a bit smaller
than me and did I mention - an all of eight pound pussy cat. Mommy told me that Callie is eighteen years old and can’t hear, but she
still likes to play and I like giving her baths. My head is just about as big as her whole body. My new mommy and daddy also have told
me that they have had many doggies like me before and that they are very experienced and understanding Labbie Lovers. I am so
grateful for that because us Labbies can be a handful sometimes. They are real good at spoiling me and feed me real well. I never
knew there was so many different kinds of food before. My mommy is such a great cook and there are always wonderful smells of
home cooked meals in the air. My daddy says that mommy feeds me better than him. They buy me so many great toys and treats that it’
s like Christmas morning everyday for me. My favorite things are big rawhides and those busy bones. I can chew on those for hours. I
also love those squeak Kong dumbbells and I love to squeeze and squeak them. It can be real loud sometimes but my mommy and
daddy don’t mind and just turn up the tv louder. Good thing Callie can’t hear. I love all the attention that they give me and I curl up on the
couch with my daddy to watch tv every chance I get. Yes, my daddy is my best pal. I follow him everywhere. Even when he is in the
shower I lay right in front of the shower door waiting for him. We do so many fun things together like going for walks, going for rides in
his big truck and working in the yard. I help by picking up all the sticks that fall from the trees. He has also told me about squirrels. I sit
and wait patiently for them up in the trees and I chase them as they run from tree to tree. Since I can’t climb trees I know I’ll never catch
one, but it’s lots of fun. I am also working on my suntan because I love laying out on the deck on sunny days. I also love rolling on my
back it the grass. I love to take my daddy for walks so I can see all the other doggies in the neighborhood. I have so many new doggie
friends, but I don’t think any of them are as lucky as me. I love going out in the rain and getting all wet for when I come in a nice warm
towel will be waiting to give me a nice rub down. I really like that and I turn around and around so they don’t miss any spots. I sleep
with my daddy and mommy in the biggest bed I have ever seen, but sometimes I just love to sleep curled up with Callie too. My daddy
takes me for rides just about everyday and I love having the wind blowing in my ears and when I am not watching the world go by, I curl
up on the back seat and take a nap. Yes, I take lots of naps because having so many new and exciting things to do sometimes makes
me sleepy and it gives my tail a break from wagging all the time.

My new mommy and daddy have many friends and family who when they come over I give them all big Labbie hugs. My mommy and
daddy also have two little granddaughters who are smaller then me, but we all get down on the floor and play and play together. They
love brushing me and I love it to. Everyone who meets me thinks I’m a real good boy and you know, I really am!

I am so happy for my new life that I can’t stop smiling and wagging my tail. Caliee has lived with mommy and daddy for eighteen years
and she has told me that they have given her the purr-fect life. So thanks so much Ellen for finding me the purr-fect mommy and daddy
too who are giving me such a great and wonderful life now also. Everyday is better than the day before and I can’t wait until tomorrow. I
am really loving being so spoiled.

Yes, I am a real lucky puppy now and I know it!

Love and Paws to Everyone and especially Ellen,
Bryon

Ps. Do you know how hard it was for me to type this with my big paws?
