Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Bomber
Bomber is a mellow yellow eight year old lab who was raised in West
Virginia. He must have had a loving owner because he is a well behaved
gentleman. And he looks and acts much younger than eight. His owner
had to place him with Brookline because the owner was not home
enough due to a new job. He also surrendered Bomber’s brother, Luke,
who is one. Bomber then lived with a foster family who was also
wonderful to him. He got along great with the kids and the foster family’s
other dog. I think the foster family really helped Bomber feel safe.

We had been waiting for a little over a year for a lab, and the wait was well
worth it. Bomber immediately became a family member. Three days after
our adoption meeting, we where off to Maine for our yearly vacation.
Bomber and our other dog, Maggie,a 4 year old yellow female, got along
great from the beginning and were perfect travel companions, just
snuggling up to each other for the two day trip to Maine. One sneak forage into a garbage can full of lobster shells, and he has sworn
off shellfish for life.

Maggie and Bomber play a good game of tug of war, have become skilled at telling us it is time to take a walk and eat, spend their
free time looking out the window together off the couch they share. Bomber loves to cuddle on the couch and share (?) the bed with
us.

We feel very fortunate to have such a great dog. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with Bomber. (aka the Bombman, Bomb-
Bomb, Bomdadeebomb, Bombadear….)
