Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Biscuit
Once upon a time, in a PA neighborhood, there was a beautiful, 4-year old, female Lab named Biscuit who needed a
new home. Biscuit’s original owners could not longer care for her, so they bravely surrendered Biscuit to BLRR.

At the same time, in another neighborhood, there was a family who felt the call to adopt a lab. This new family had lots
of love and time to give to a dog. Biscuit’s new owners contacted BLRR who helped them adopt Biscuit.

Biscuit is surrounded by love from her new owners as well as from her extended human family. Biscuit has many
human "cousins" who give here lots of attention and playtime. Biscuit’s human grandmother and uncle traveled 300
miles and spent a week getting to know Biscuit. Biscuit’s human grandmother loves her new "granddog!"

Biscuit’s new owners have a place at the beach where Biscuit has enjoyed many 2010 summer days. Biscuit loves to
frolic in the waves and catch a Frisbee on the beach.

Like some other girls, Biscuit needed to lose a few pounds, and her new home was the solution. Biscuit gets lots of
exercise and has managed to lose over 10 pounds! She looks wonderful on the beach this summer.

Biscuit loves car rides and goes many places, including her human sister’s soccer practices. In fact, Biscuit may
become the soccer team’s mascot!

So the story ends happily, as Biscuit is in her new home and she is thriving!
