Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am 8 years old. I have adjusted well to my new home
and new family (they think I am so sweet and love to cuddle with me). My new Mom is
home all day so we pal around in her office or the kitchen (my favorite place, of course).
Every day I stand at the window and look for my new Dad to come home from work and
then we all go for a walk. There’s this wooded area and empty fields nearby to explore -
I love the new scents of deer and rabbits.
There are four dogs living next door. We all have our underground fences, which I am
learning to respect, so we just watch each other and bark on occasion. I used to live
with two chocolate Lab sisters, so I do love other dogs. However, being the only dog
and getting all the attention at my new house really “rocks!”
I’m riding in the car better with my new family too. I get to go on short errands with them
and stay safely in the back seat. I love eating (of course - I am a Lab!), but I’m learning
not to sit and stare at the family while they eat. I also love sleeping … mostly in the
family bed … but I’m getting better about sleeping in my bed next to them and then
sneaking up with them closer to morning.
Life is good, and since I can’t be with my old family, Brookline found a great home for
me! I plan to stay here forever.
