Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Marshall
Hi! My name is Marshall and I was found last winter wandering in Berks County with my brother Franklin.  I had heartworm and
lyme disease and spent a restful six months with my Brookline foster mom getting fixed up before moving with my new owners to
the big city of Philadelphia.  Since then I’ve become quite the city dog.  Some of my favorite things to do here include: chasing
squirrels in the park, howling along with sirens when they pass in front of my house, and demanding long belly scratching
sessions from everyone I see.  My other favorite thing is to ride in the car.  Looking out the window is fun for a while, but what I really
like to do is stretch out on the back seat and fall deeply, deeply asleep.  Luckily my owners have taken me all over New England
this summer, so I’ve gotten in some long and excellent naps.  And they taught me to swim!  It took me a while to believe them when
they said I could do it, but now I’ll jump right in and splash around.   My owners say I'm the most well-behaved Lab they've ever met,
but I think they're just being nice.
