Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Lacey
As a five year volunteer with my own 12 year old yellow Lab I did not expect
to add a new four legged child to the family...but I found myself fostering for
Brookline for the first time in my 5 year history and during that first foster
experience I fell in love with a Lab named Lacey.

Lacey came from a breeder in Chester county and appeared to have had
many litters. She lived in a barn. When she first came to my house she
slipped all over the hardwood floors and was afraid to walk up the stairs.
Well that did not take long to overcome. You would never know this girl didn't
grow up here her whole life. She now runs up and down the stairs, sleeps
in my bed every night and has a spot on the couch :-)

Lacey is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She has sad eyes and a heart
of gold. Her tail wags constantly and she loves to cuddle. I could never have
given her up. She was a true Christmas present for me this year and I am
grateful to Brookline for bringing her into my life.

Love you Lacey Face,
