Hi, my name is Franklin! I was found roaming the streets of Berks county
with my brother. When we were found, we were thin and not feeling well.
We went to a shelter, and no one ever came for us. Then Brookline came to
our rescue. Now I’m feeling great, and loving life with my new family!! I’ve
been settling in just fine. When I first came to my new home, my owners
crated me, but I was eager to show them how smart I was. So, when they
left the house, I figured out how the latch worked, and I got out. Then they
tried gates, and I worked my way out again!! They soon realized that I didn’t
cause any trouble in the house alone, so now I can roam as I please when
they are at work. My new family has been very impressed with how smart I
am. I was never walked on a leash regularly, and I had no leash manners
before. But they showed me what to do, now I’m so behaved that the
neighbors are even impressed. I’m so happy in my new home, and I know
my owners are super happy too, because they shower me with love…and
lots of doggie treats!!
