Ellie is really a wonderful addition to our
household here. She has greatly improved on
that "counter surfing" to the point where it has
been non-existent, although we still try to keep
Ellie in mind and not leave much around within
her reach. I often dog sit for my sister’s Lab,
Kimba, and it’s really a lot of fun to watch the
pair of them run around and play. Ellie is now
playing with toys and likes to play fetch at times
too. She loves those "pumpkinsicles" you told
us about that we make for her.
The story of Ellie reminds me somewhat of
Oliver Twist in that she has finally found the
home where she belongs. Thanks to the
Brookline volunteers for everything they did to
bring Ellie into my life and my home.
