Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
|
Hey now from The Promised Land in South Central PA! This is
where I live and have found my furever home.
My name is Brooke. My mom and pop (Peg and Kenn) officially
adopted me on Oct. 3, 2009. I have full run of and guard our
home and one acre of land, which has an electric fence to keep
me safe. I keep out all the critters including squirrelers and
huge groundhoggers, but enjoy watching the birds that are my
friends.
I am almost 5 years old now and have a very muscular and
powerful bod. My mom and pop call me a sweetheart. Maybe
because I have big brown eyes and give them lots and lots of
kisses. Oh...and I am extremely huggable, too!
I'm allowed to sleep on the bed (our bedroom is downstairs) because that is where The Pack sleeps. I snore loudly sometimes, but
they do not seem to mind. During the night I go upstairs to check out our home to make sure everything is safe and to take a quick nap
on my huge pillow.
One of the biggest thrills I have is going for rides in the car which I get to do a lot. Many people wave at me when they see my beautiful
face outside the window.
My friends, Linda and Jen from Brookline, helped make all this happen. Thank you so much. Kenn, Peg, and I are now and forever will
be grateful to you both for bringing this Pack together. Thanks again!
Love,
Brooke
P.S. Almost forgot to tell you. I get a Frosty Paw now and then. Ain't life grand? Especially at The Promised Land!
