Nelly came to us as because we had lost our precious dog CJ in November. Our other dog Maddie missed her friend so much
and we needed to fill the empty place in all of our hearts. We saw Nelly on Petfinder, which led us to Brookline. We read her
sad story and knew we had lots of love to share with her. We were so impressed with the caring and kindness of Nancy and
Nelly's foster mom Jen. Getting Nelly has been such a blessing. She is happy and funloving. She is working on giving kisses.
She enjoys sitting in the bay window, as if she were a cat. She is a work in progress, but I so look forward to coming home and
seeing her "dancing" at the door. We were truly given a very special gift in Nelly and we thank Brookline for all the caring and
support we were given through the adoption process.
Again, thanks for all your help. We love our "Nelly-belly!"
