| Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes |
Hi, my name is Kramer but I used to be called Koty. I was part of a litter of five
pups rescued from a puppy mill when I was 6 months old. I stayed with a neat
foster home with 3 grown labs for a month until I came to my new home and
now live with Gary & Cathie.
I've been here 2 months and love it!! They had been without a dog since their
two previous labs passed away about 2 years ago after 13 years of fun and love.
It took some time to get used to people, other dogs and my new home but I'm
doing great now. I no longer have to be in a crate and have my own big bed. I
have full roam of the house while they are at work and do my best to behave.
But when they come home, I'm ready for action. I love to go for runs in the park
and woods, chase and fetch until their arms hurt and play and play and play. I
follow them everywhere. I just want to be loved, petted and played with all the
time.
I'm making new dog and people friends everyday. I wish my new parents would
adopt another Brookline pal for me!! I now go to obedience class and I'm
learning new things with each class.
Thanks so much to Marie and Sharon at Brookline for placing me with two
people who love me dearly. It took some time for them to find a dog that was
right for them but it has worked out great for all three of us. I'm spoiled and I
love it.
