Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Zeus came to us February 2004 with the help of a BLRR volunteer and foster mom. Our first impression of Zeus was that of a
big menacing black lab with a fierce bark to match. Little did we know that this intimidating looking lab was really a big softie!

Zeus and Arnie (his new fur brother) became buddies almost right away after a few days of establishing the new pecking
order. From the first day we took Zeus home he slept in our bed, our laps...pretty much anywhere we would let him. The fact
that he weighed 90 pounds did not seem to bother him as he draped himself all over us. He started attending doggie day
camp every day with Arnie, and it didn't take him long to charm the employees with his sweet personality. His first summer
was spent exploring our yard, going swimming (a first for him and he was a natural) and lounging around which is his
favorite activity:)

Now it's over a year later and we can't imagine LBZ (life before Zeus). He and Arnie still go to camp every day, and his nights
are spent following us around the house and playing with Arnie. He is such a great dog and we feel so lucky to have found
him. Not a day goes by that we don't comment on how fortunate we are to have Zeus as an addition to our family. Thanks
again to the BLRR volunteer and Brookline for a successful adoption!!
