Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
|

Tucker was found by a volunteer with another rescue while he was wandering on the PA Turnpike. All attempts were made to find
his owners. But no one claimed him. The other rescue was unable to place Tucker because of his age and his unknown
background. The other rescue was closing it's doors due to lack of funds and volunteers and had to find all the animals new
homes. They asked Brookline for help with Tucker. Tucker was an older boy, who was eager to please and just wanted to be by
your side and give you kisses while you petted him. He was a complete love bug. Not many people were interested in Tucker
because he was too old they said. I kept telling Tucker, "don't worry there is someone out there who will love you, age is just a
number. "Along came a gentlemen Mr. C. who was also wiser because of age. He had lost his old time labby friend who died. He
was lost without him and wanted another labby buddy. He saw Tucker on our website and knew that was the boy for him. He was
so excited when he saw Tucker he couldn't wait to take him home. Mr. C. and Tucker went home as if they had always been
together. Still to this day they are devoted to each other and do everything together like two retired buddies! Both of these
gentlemen found their calling in each other. For them age is just a number and friendship, companionship means more :-)
Never give up someone always loves you no matter how old you are. Age is just a number & you are as old as you feel.
