Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
|
When somebody left 11-month-old Tossa and her fur-brother at an animal shelter, she was devastated. Her
brother was quickly adopted, but her withdrawn and nervous behavior kept anyone from wanting this poor girl.
When Tossa first came to Brookline from the shelter, she was extremely shy and spent much of the first couple of
days cowering every time her foster mother stood up. After spending 2 months learning to trust people in that
Brookline foster home, Tossa was finally ready to live with her forever family. Now Tossa loves playing with her
canine sister, Lexie, and four human siblings, and continues to come out of her shell more each day. She’s
developed even more self-esteem by attending obedience classes. Tossa especially enjoys hiking, watching the
neighbors through the living room window, cuddling with “her kids,” and chomping on her Kong. Just look at those
before and after photos. Yay for Tossa!
