We have had a dog for most of the 25 years we've been married. In the past, we purchased them as puppies from a breeder. In
September, we lost Amber, our beloved Golden Retriever, to leukemia. She was only 7 and 1/2 years old. We never thought we would
find a girl as sweet as her again. But, thanks to BLRR, we did! Luckily for us, we decided to rescue a dog this time. We had some
reservation about doing so, but all our concerns were put to rest in working with BLRR. They matched us with Tannah, the sweetest 2
year old yellow Lab anyone could ever ask for. She loves everybody and everybody loves her. Our friends took care of her for a few days
recently while we were out of state for our son's wedding and they didn't want to give her back! They said they hope we'll be taking lots
of vacations without her (we won't be). Tannah is almost perfect. Our only complaint about her is that she takes over more than her fair
share of the bed. Thanks BLRR for bringing this wonderful companion into our lives!
