Sparky is a Brookline senior dog success story. He came into the rescue as a 9-year-old and spent some quality
time in a great Brookline foster home. A very nice woman who was looking for a companion for her older Lab
became interested in Sparky, and there has been no looking back since then. Sparky went to live in his new
home at the end of 2006 and became a permanent member of his new family in January of 2007. He is now
living the good life at his new home in the country. He has a best bud in his new dog sister, Ciera, a yellow Lab,
and he loves to sleep on his Mom’s bed. Sparky gets to walk to the pond every day and enjoy the great outdoors
and also snooze away comfy cozy inside while his Mom works during the week. Sparky proves that just because
a dog is a little older, he/she can still make a great friend and new family member!
