Shana was a 3 year old female who came to us when her family could not keep her. They contacted Brookline to help find her a
new home that was a perfect match for her. It wasn’t long before that home was found! Doesn't she look comfy napping with her
camel on her new mom's robe? From her new family.
"Brookline Lab Rescue did a wonderful job matching us up with Shana, who is now named Sable. We have had many labs over the
years, and after a blizzard of emails and phone calls, and a meeting at an Exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Sable came to us!
Sable is a treasure and a love bunny. We adore her, and she brings so much joy into our lives. She snoozes happily on her blue
denim L.L. Bean bed, or more likely, at my feet. She loves carrying around her squeaky toys - a camel, two lemurs, and a monkey.
Not to mention numerous lacrosse and tennis balls. She is always eager for a car ride or a neighborhood walk. She no longer
paces (an anxiety, stress reaction.) Sable is the gentlest lab we have ever owned.
We are thrilled she is a member of our family and look forward to our first Christmas with her.
