| Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes |
Raven came to Brookline after being caught in the middle of a messy divorce. Her mom couldn’t take her and her dad did not want her.
Luckily, her mom found Brookline and she ended up with amazing foster parents named Kellie and Jeff, where she learned to trust
people again and learned that couches are quite comfortable…among many other things.
We had wanted a dog for a quite a while, but only recently moved to a house with a fence and a nice backyard. After many searches
online, we found Brookline and started the application process. Our wonderful volunteer, Elisa, interviewed us and eventually we
learned we were a match for Raven. From the moment we took Raven home, we were completely in love with her. She is a very sweet
girl, with a great personality and disposition. She LOVES people andgoes from person to person asking for affection, which we happily
give her. She also has all sorts of funny things she does, like burping and trying to pick up multiple toys (at least three) in her mouth at
the same time.
Dogs bring such joy and fun into human lives, but we could never have imagined how much we would love her so quickly. We feel so
lucky to be able to give her the "furever" home that she deserves. And we’re so grateful to all of the foster parents and the Brookline
volunteers who work so hard on behalf of these wonderful dogs. Thank you!
