Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Lilly came to Brookline from a family who, from what we gathered, did not have much experience with Labs
and did not know how to handle a Lab puppy. Luckily for Lilly, she found wonderful foster parents in Jeff and
Kellie who taught her to love the indoors as much as the outdoors and gave her so much love and affection
she has become a wonderful addition to our family.

We did have our reservations at first adopting another Lab puppy into our family, but thanks to all the help and
support from Joyce, our Sr. Volunteer, and the foster parents Jeff and Kellie, our experience with Brookline has
been wonderful. Even with a late night crisis involving a big box of Bisquick and two very sick doggies. Thanks
again, Joyce !!!!

Lilly shares a home with her fur sister Zoë, a yellow Lab, who is one month younger than Lilly and our two son’
s ages 9 and 6. To everyone’s surprise and delight Zoë and Lilly have become fast friends and are now
inseparable, we are often asked if they are sisters and came from the same litter. Lilly is such a sweetheart
with such a great disposition and personality she really has made herself at home both in our hearts as well
as in our home. Lilly and Zoë share everything from a big comfy bed at the foot of ours to bones, treats and an
occasionally kiss passing in the hallway. We can’t wait to take Lilly down the shore to meet her grandparents.
Zoë keeps telling her how much fun the sand and ocean is, and they both have so much fun now in our pool. I
think between the pups and our boys we are going to have our hands full this summer.

If you’re looking for a Lab (and who wouldn’t be) we would recommend Brookline as the way to go. The dogs
who come through Brookline are so blessed with these wonderful guardian angels.
