Hi! It's Lila,(I got my new name from Harold & the Purple Crayon), but you may
remember me as Sunshine. It's been a busy 4 1/2 months since I was adopted
by new family and I love living here, although I still suffer from some separation
anxiety and I was a little nervous at the beginning, but my buddy (my dad) says
I'm getting better every day.I think he's right. And when he comes home at night, I
can't wait to see him!
My favorite thing to do is go for walks three times a day, which keeps me in great
shape and I can meet new friends. (four-legged & two-legged) I especially like
meeting kids. They give me kisses and hugs. After I go out, I return home to
receive a treat.(yummy!). I also enjoy find pleasure in eating my favorite
foods---cheese, peanut butter & Cheerios. (I get to have them in my Kong)
I also enjoy going for rides in the car to see new places and smell new smells.
I sleep downstairs on my bed in the living room all by myself now. (when I first
came home, I slept in my dad's bedroom), but sometimes I tromp upstairs to
wake my friends so I can go out. (I told you I love my walks!)
I don't really play yet, but maybe one day, I'll learn how. Keep your paws crossed!
I love my new family and they love me--I get so spoiled by all their attention!
(tummy rubs are the best!)
