Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
|

Hi my name is Kelly Ann but my furever family calls me Kelly Belly. In December 2006, Brookline helped me find my
new family. My previous owners had a change in lifestyle and courageously surrendered me to Brookline so that I
could find a home that would give me the exercise and attention that I needed. As you can see, I am a beautiful eight
year old girl. My Mom says that I have the energy of a puppy but the manners of a wise old lady. In my new home, I
get lots of love and attention. My Mom thinks she is the luckiest lady around because I run with her every day. We run
in the hills and along the Brandywine about 5 miles a day. Since I am a lab and love water, I get to swim in the river
and even run in the rain. During the day, I get to sleep under my Mom or Dad's desk while they work. I also get to go
on errands with my Mom. I love to ride in the car. Sometimes when we are home, my feline brothers like to play tag
team and chase me around the house. I like to tease them with my tail. Lots of times, we all nap together in my bed.
Sometimes I have to push them around with my nose just to make enough room for me. They never scratch me
because they love me too much. When my brother and sister come home from school, I get to play fetch in the yard. I
love to fetch sticks but don't like to give them back. It's too much fun to play tug of war. Before I go to sleep at night, I
get to take a long walk in the neighborhood. When I come home, I settle on my brother's bed. He tells Mom that
having me sleep on his bed is "a dream come true". My mom's friends call me "the Ambassador" because I always
greet everyone with my labby smile and a body wag. I'm the friendliest girl. I love meeting other people and dogs.
Because I have two feline brothers, I have also greeted strange cats in the yard with a friendly swagger and sniff.
I am such a happy girl and know that I am loved. I think finding this furever family is my dream come true. Thanks
Brookline for helping me find them.
