| Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes |
Hi! I'm Jake and thanks to the wonderful people at Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, my story is a very happy one and I'd like to
share it with you. My tale began with being found as a stray in central Pa and spending some time in the Cumberland Valley SPCA. My
former owners must have lost me accidentally somehow because I am such a devoted and loving dog that no one would have
abandoned me. I was taken in by BLLR and placed with a loving foster family. While sick and underweight, my foster family gave me
lots of love and attention during my convalescence. I had human and furry siblings and got playtime, the best of care and love, and
before long I was healthy ready to find a forever home.
After one attempt at adoption that didn't last long, magic happened and I met the people destined to be my forever family. They loved
me at first sight and I knew this was the family for me. I've been on my best behavior and learning all kinds of new stuff. I have acres to
play on, places to swim, room to run, and a family that understands me. We do long hikes and group cuddles and I have my own spot
on the bed at night. Most of all I just like to hang out with my people close by and soak up lots of attention. My neighbors include 4 other
labs and 11 kiddies. We have all become great friends. Thanks BLRR, for taking care of me and finding a place to call home
