Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
|

Hi Everybody,
Remember me? My name is Gus (aka Mr. Gus or the Guster). I'm the handsome (that's my mommy speaking, not me) guy in yellow
with my sister Avanti in Black. I was the one who was left tied up in a storage area after my previous family (if you could call them that)
moved. I was in there for a long time without food or water. All I could think of was that someone would find me and take care of me so
that they could see how good I am. And then came along Brookline!
I am living with my sister Avanti, my mommy and daddy as well as their 3 children in a big house with a large yard that I get to play in. I
have lots of toys to play with and my family loves to run with me outside. I'm loving my daily belly rubs. I even get along with my fur
sister, although she doesn't like it when I body check her into the cabinets (but I think it's fun, hee, hee). I really want to thank Brookline
and especially my foster mom Mary for taking such good care of me and for finding me a new forever home. My mom says that I don't
frown anymore, I just smile. I don't know what that means, but I do know that I'm a very happy guy now! Thanks Brookline!!!
Hi. We were the family that was fortunate enough to be chosen to adopt Gus. We waited a long time for him, but boy was it worth it! I
expected a time of adjustment especially due to his previous experiences, but what I got was almost a ready made dog! His dribbling
problem rarely happens now, and he's as healthy as a horse! He wants nothing more than to be at my side (or close by) and lavish me
with kisses. He has to be one of the sweetest dogs that I have ever had the privilege to own. He listens well and learns fast. We really
want to thank everyone at Brookline for all of the help that they gave us and especially Gus. He's been the perfect addition to our family,
and now we can't imagine life without him.
