"Hi my name is Duncan. I came to live at a Sunrise Assisted Living on June 14, 2006. My old family could not manage me anymore
because I did not like to be left alone in the house and have severe separation anxiety. They were very nice people and when they
realized I needed extra attention they contacted the volunteers at Brookline for help. That is when my new family found me. I really
like my new family! I've got so many people to depend on now and I'm never lonely. Everyone at my new home is so nice to me and
I get plenty of attention. I get to play with all the residents grandchildren and I get to go on so many walks with all my new family
members. I go for rides in the car when the nice Activity lady needs supplies from the store and I get to go to the park with her and
run around for exercise.
I now spend my days going for walks, giving everyone kisses and being pet by everyone in my new home. I am very happy here
and I always have someone to play with. Though I will always remember my old family and everything they taught me, I am glad to
be here with all of my new family members who love me very much!"
