Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Hi! My name is Droopy. Pretty silly name, huh? But, I like it and my new family likes it and all of my new friends like it, so I am keeping
it. I'm just a baby and I had a pretty rough start. You see, I got really sick along with my fur-siblings and I was in the hospital for almost
a week! I even had a silly bucket on my head so I couldn't chew out the needle that was in my paw. But then I got better and my
wonderful Brookline foster Moms promised to find loving homes for all of us. And, they did!

When I went to meet my new family it was like a party and it was all for me. The neighbors all came over to meet me too! In my new
house, I have a really big back yard that I play in and a brother and sister that love to play with me. They even have a kiddie pool that I
can share on the really hot days. On my first night in my new home, I was scared since none of my fur-siblings were there with me.
But, my new sister heard me crying and she came and slept on the floor next to me and I stopped crying. Now, I'm not afraid because I
have a family of my very own.

I am learning all kinds of new commands in two languages. You see, my new family is from Argentina so I am learning my
commands in both English and Spanish. Isn't that neat? They say that I am pretty smart! My new dad can't wait until I am old enough to
learn to jog with him. I am growing fast and I think I will make a great jogging buddy. My new mom takes me to the school bus stop
when it is time for my brother and sister to go to school and come home from school and I get to see all of the kids from the
neighborhood. So, life is really good for me now thanks to the Brookline people who rescued me and found me my wonderful new
family and home.
