Hello, my name is Buddy. My name used to be Spirit. I was lucky enough to have been rescued by the wonderful people at
Brookline. But, I got even more lucky when my two moms, adopted me. First I had to live with them for three weeks, for a trial
period, not that they were going to give me up after three weeks. But, I think my new doggy sister might have thought about it.
Mason is older than me and a lot bigger. I now have a large fenced in yard to play in, and my one mommy is teaching me to run
with her. I am still fascinated by the horses, and I learned to sleep in bed (no more sleeping under the kitchen table). Once my
sister realized I was moving in for good, she decided to like me. We play bitey face, play tug of war, go for long walks, and cuddle
on the bed together. But she still steals my toys once in awhile, but I let her take it, and mommy praises me for it. I feel very safe
and loved here, and am so hap py that Brookline helped me find my mommies and sister.
We could not thank Gwen and Brookline enough. It took awhile, but she helped us find the sweetest little boy that fit in perfectly. We
never had a dog from a resuce before, and it took awhile for him to learn to trust us and feel safe. But now his eyes have a little
more twinkle in them and they do not look so sad. He has become a happy little guy that enjoys his walks, running in the yard, and
going for car rides.
