Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Bear D. Bear had a short but full life. BDB came into Brookline Lab Rescue in February of 2006. He was pulled from a shelter after his
family could no longer care for him. He was placed with a foster family that loved him a great deal. He began to show signs that he
was not feeling well, so off to the vet he went. Just then, another dog came to the rescue with health issue, so BDB happily moved to
another foster home in the same town. BDB was lucky to see his first foster moms on a weekly basis and also got to play with three
more dogs. Unfortunately, BDB was diagnosed with a tumor and his life would be cut short. So it was decided that BDB would stay
with his new foster mom until the end. While BDB was with the rescue he was a great ambassador for the rescue and he was loved
by all who came into his life. Sadly Bear D. Bear passed away on November 1, 2006 while doing what he loved, playing and eating. I
was his foster mom and feel that BDB was a success story. Even though he was never adopted, he did find his forever family and it
was all of the great people in Brookline Lab Rescue and especially with his three foster moms.
