Talented artist and Lab-lover Sheila Wedegis
has teamed with Brookline Lab Rescue to raise
money for the Labs while also raising
awareness of dogs looking for their forever
homes. Each month, Sheila will create an

appeals to me. Maybe it's
because they appear to be
somewhat mysterious and
less readable in their facial
expressions than a lighter
coated dog. Perhaps I love
the breeds that are dark
coated-the Shepherds,
Rotties, Dobermans and
Black labs-big, loyal
working dogs that
demand attention by their

Across PA & NJ 2010 Pet Fair and Walkathon event
will take place at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken,
NJ. The second event will take place on Saturday,
September 18, 2010 for the 4th year at Cedar Beach
Park in Allentown, PA.
Both events will be held take from 9 am – 1 pm, rain or
shine. There will something for everyone so don’t
miss out on the FUN, the FOOD and the FUR!

Hi my name is Misty and I am a beautiful
chocolate girl. Unfortunately someone
only used me for breeding and I was
severely neglected medically. The
awesome people at the shelter really fixed
me up though. To make a long story short,
I was burned on my back and leg and they
took care of that. My teeth had severe

Hi! I am Trooper. At 6 months old, I'm just
a puppy. In the short months of my life I
have been through a lot! You see, I was
dumped on the side of the road and a very
nice lady picked me up. She noticed that I
