| Sunny |
Meet Sunny! She's a 2 yr old yellow female that has been
in our care since Friday January 27, 2012. She has lived
her life in a breeder's barn since birth. Shortly after taking
her in we noticed she was limping on her right leg and
sometimes not using it at all. X-rays showed she had a
torn CCL and meniscus in her knee, along with a lot of
arthritis around the injury indicating this is an old injury.
Surgery is recommended to correct her torn ligaments as
well as to prevent any other injuries to her good leg.
Surgery and physical therapy will cost anywhere from
$1900 to $2500.
Sunny is a very sweet and loving dog that enjoys being
around people and other dogs. She is affectionate and
just wants to make her people happy. She loves running,
chasing balls, and just hanging out at the park with other
dogs where she turns into her old puppy self. Young
Sunny deserves the ability to run pain free for the rest of
her life!
