Sammi
This is Samantha. Samantha came to us from her owner who had exhausted all possible cures and
had to go back to work and could not deal with Sammi's problems. Samantha has Megasophagus,
this is similar to reflux in people. Sammi has to be held up after she eats or she brings her food back
up. As you will see Sammi is very skinny in all the pictures because of this horrible disease. We are
trying to get Sammi stabilized. Please help us with Sammi if you cannot afford to contribute to our
Bright Horizons Fund then please think good thoughts for Sammi
Sammi is just the sweetest little thing. She is about 7 months old in this photo.

We are trying conventional and holistic methods with Sammi and they appear to be working a little.
This is Sammi's best friend. she sits and sucks on this for long periods of time.

Who could say no to that face??   At times we do all we can do and give the ultimate sacrifice, our
hearts, and we still lose. That is the case with Sam. On October 13, 2000 this world that we live in got
just a little dimmer because Sammi left us. The Rainbow Bridge got a little brighter on that day. Sammi
is at the bridge playing with all the others who await their loved ones to make that crossing. Some ask
how can we do what we do. I ask how can we not?
