Hi my name is Misty and I am a beautiful chocolate girl. Unfortunately someone only used me for
breeding and I was severely neglected medically. The awesome people at the shelter really fixed me
up though. To make a long story short, I was burned on my back and leg and they took care of that. My
teeth had severe dental disease so I had to have all my top molars removed. I got spayed and had
mammary gland tumors removed, that, thank goodness were not cancerous. Last but not least I had
my “cherry eye” fixed. You see my tear glands have been bulging out of my eyes for most of my 5-6 yrs.
They are severely damaged because of that and the first surgery was a failure. Even though the Doc at
the shelter tried really hard, I now have to see an ophthalmologist. I will hopefully get my last surgery in
two weeks, but it is not cheap. Now that I am in foster care with Brookline my foster mom is taking me
to the best place to get my surgery done. However, it will cost about $2,000 altogether. Won’t you
please help me so I can look normal again? I am a very sweet girl and after taking care of all those
pups I had, it is now time for someone to take care of me. Thank you sooooo much!
