adopted. The shelter did give me my shots but before I got them I was around some really sick puppies
and got a very bad disease called Parvo. Puppies can die from that, but my foster family and their vet
caught my disease in time. I was so sick the vet said I would have to go to the hospital or I would die. I
was sent to the hospital for four days. I had TWO tubes in me, but I was so sick I did not care. The tubes
gave me medicine and water because I was dehydrating. I got lots of medicine and blood palettes when I
was in the hospital. I had to have a private room and no one could come visit me because Parvo is so
contagious. All this stuff was very, very expensive. But guess what I LIVED! It was only because of the
generous people at Brookline that I am doing better. I am still on a lot of medicine but everyday I get
stronger and stronger.
As a result of the large hospital bill incurred in the care of Buckley we are asking for donations to offset
some of her bills. Any donation would be greatly appreciated by Buckley, the Rescue and her foster family.
Update on Buckley: She is home from the vet and
doing well. Brookline has spent around $2000.00 on

but instead they got me and the name stuck. I am very
