Bear D. Bear came to Brookline in February 2006. While in foster care he began
to loss weight and pant heavily. Because of the Bright Horizons Fund Brookline
Labrador Retriever Rescue was able to give Bear the veterinary care he needed.
Unfortunately Bear’s diagnosis was a tumor on the base of his heart and there
isn’t a cure. Knowing this Bear will not be adopted to a family and will live the
rest of his days in a loving foster home. The Bright Horizon Fund helps
Brookline care for the dogs we love and helps insure that the dogs we place
