Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
Bosco
Sadly my family had to move out of state and they couldn’t take me with them.  It’s ok though as I am
currently taking up residence with a Brookline foster family. We all know how special those Brookline
Foster families are.  I thought I was going to take this time to catch up on some R & R while I waited for
my new forever family, but it doesn’t seem like that is what is in store for me, nope.  Since I came to stay
with this nice family they have taken me to see “the vet” (oh joy) and then a surgeon ( double joy), all
because I am lumpy. Hey I tried to tell them us older folks get some lumps but you know these Brookline
people wouldn’t buy it so off we went. So the good news is my lumps are benign. The bad news is they
have to be removed. Seems that because of where they are located it will make going on those walkies a
thing of the past. Yup if these big boys keep growing, they will limit my walking abilities. Now I love walks
so this is a big deal. Also it is big money.  The surgery is expensive but necessary and it will ensure that I
can move around without any discomfort in the future. So I guess I gotta go through with it.  Brookline
says: schedule the surgery!  I'm hoping if you think Brookline is as great as I do, you might consider
donating to our Bright Horizons Fund, to help pay for my treatment and treatment for other  dogs like me
who need a little help.  If you do, I promise to send virtual sloppy kisses and go for nice walks as soon as
I'm all better.
Love,  Bosco
