9/2/10:

What a busy and fun filled day!  I got to be featured at the Adoption Showcase with my foster brother Jake and my new buddy Maverick.  Some other chocolate chickee, Candy Lou crashed too, but that’s ok, the more the merrier!  I am now posted under Available Dogs since I am officially looking for my furrever family.  I was really, really behaved tonight.  I was fantastic with all dogs shapes and sizes at PetSmart.  Oh and super excellent with the little ones.  I have two little ones in my Foster Home and really good with kids.  I’m what the Brookline Volunteers call a true rescue, living out in a kennel and then coming in to my new world is truly priceless.  I’m now taking applications and have to say with all of the interest, you never know if I already met my family. Hard to say since everyone wanted to take me home tonight.

I went to the Vet for a check-up last Friday and tested negative for Heartworm and Lyme. I was a really good boy at the vet visit. I just got neutered and got my teeth cleaned too!

Things are going well with my foster brother Jake. I don’t bother with the resident cat and I’m very good with the kdis in my house. My foster family says I’m just an easy going guy who still needs to learn some manners.

Brookline has sprung me and I just came in to Foster Care in early August.  Not only do I have a new Foster Family but I get to live with Foster Dog Jake.  Jake has told me that he is the king of the house and that is A-OK by me!  I’m just happy to be out of the heat, with a caring family and pretty darn good food and treats.   I play super nice with Jake and we get along great!  Guess you could say I’m pretty dog saavy living with other dogs. My Foster Mom and Dad welcomed me with open arms, I try my best to be gentle with the kiddies.  But they are all helping me learn manners.  I can try their patience pretty good, but you know what, they are so patient with me.  I take treats gently and just am a happy go lucky guy now.  My luck has changed and pretty soon, I’ll be getting neutered.  So wish me luck and keep checking back for my updates.  I should be looking for my furrever home pretty darn soon!  Oh by the way, I just received my Foster Care package.  Thank you Brookline, I’m sporting the homemade bandana that you made me too.  Us Labbies can’t begin to thank you for helping raise money for us, sending me treats and for the public who help support Brookline.
