Thank You

At Brookline,  we recognize that one of our greatest sources of strength is the commitment and interest of our friends in the community. We hope that you know how appreciative we are, and how great of an impact your generosity has on our volunteers and Labs.

healthypawalogo Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
We would like to thank Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for awarding a $1000.00 grant to us to help our Labradors. At Healthy Paws, their mission is to help all pets have a healthier and happier tomorrow. Healthy Paws, like Brookline, is passionate about helping homeless pets get the medical care they need.

Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue would like to thank College Hunks Hauling Junk for donating their time to clean up after our annual yard sale. With their help, we were able to donate the remaining items to other charities in need.
  Longaberger® Basket Bingo
The volunteers of Brookline would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to all of the generous individuals and businesses that contributed merchandise, gift cards or a monetary donation for our First Longaberger® Basket Bingo fundraising event held on April 22, 2012.   Three Scoops of Vanilla
It is with gratitude and admiration that we extend our heartfelt thanks to Three Scoops of Vanilla for hosting a one day sale to benefit Brookline Lab Rescue. Because of the generous participation of our friends and family, we will be able to continue with our mission of helping as many Labs as possible and providing the medical care necessary to make them healthy and adoptable. Erin’s opening the door to this unique opportunity will be a tremendous help in our continuing this effort. You can see some of the jewelry here.
The Pedigree Foundation
Brookline would again like to thank Pedigree® food for dogs, a brand of Mars for a 2015 donation of $1000.00 through the Pedigree Adoption Drive foundation. The Pedigree Adoption Drive Foundation is used to help shine the spotlight on the plight of homeless dogs. Through no fault of their own, more than four million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescues every year. Sadly, nearly half of those canines never find a place to call home, a trend that the Pedigree Adoption Drive Foundation hopes to help reverse. The volunteers of Brookline share the foundation’s concern for homeless dogs and look forward to making use of this grant in the continuing challenges and rewards of this endeavor to rescue one until there is none. Special thanks to volunteer Gwen for her successful grant writing efforts.

  Build-A-Bear Workshop
Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue wishes to thank the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for awarding us a second $1,000 grant. The funds will be used to spay or neuter our Labs prior to their adoption into a new family. The Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation is committed to making life more bearable for children, families and pets, in need of a helping paw. With the sale of each full-sized Bearemy’s Kennel Pals® friend — a collection of Build‑A‑Bear Workshop® plush dogs — one dollar is donated to domestic pet programs including local animal shelters, stray pet rescue and rehabilitation organizations, and pet education programs around the country. These funds are available to qualified non-profit organizations in the United States and Canada through a quarterly grant process. Visit for more information.
Thank You Brownie Troop 4043
Brownie Troop 4043 Donates to Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue. The brownies of Troop 4043 had a decision to make regarding the disbursement of their hard earned cookie sales money and their choice included helping animals. The girls donated $101.00 to Brookline, an amount reminiscent of Disney’s 101 Dalmations. The six and seven year old girls are learning the importance of “Giving Back” and were excited that they could help dogs in need. This donation kicks off the upcoming troop’s year-long theme of service calledGiving Back: Helping our Animal Friends, Our People Friends, and Our Planet

A Great BIG Thank You !
The volunteers of Brookline would like to offer our gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all those who saw the plight of Jake and Gunner and answered the call. Because of your incredible kindness and generosity, we have reached our goal!  Jake and Gunner will get the medical care they need. As we all watch these guys recover, we hope you recognize that you are one of our greatest sources of strength.  Your compassion and commitment to these Labs proved second to none. It is from the bottom of our hearts that we say to you: Thank You!
