Jackson Chocolate Labrador Retriever Male 10 Months Old

November 25, 2018

Meet Jackson. He’s a 10 month old, purebred chocolate bundle of joy. Jackson’s original owner passed away and his current owners are unable to keep him due to divorce. He is spending too many hours in a crate and the current owners want what’s best for him, so they have reached out to rescue.

Jackson is smart, curious, friendly and athletic. He wants to please his people, so he learns quickly, but his energy often gets the better of him. He is still very young and exhibits puppy behaviors, like struggling to sit still, but he will roll over on his back to get a belly rub. He needs work on his jumping up and mouthing, typical of young lab. This boy is a diamond in the “ruff” and will repay you for your efforts with love and loyalty.Chocolate Labrador Retriever sitting tongue out

Jackson will also need to be neutered with his adoptive family. He is up to date on his vaccinations and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Jackson will need training and exercise to teach him how to focus his energy, but if you are searching for a young, energetic, happy chocolate boy, Jackson could be exactly what you’re looking for.
