Bippa, Yellow Labrador Retriever Female, 11-12 Years Old

October 28, 2018

My name is Bippa and I am a very young 12 year old. I lost my family and fur brothers when my owner developed MS and had to give us up. I was very shy when I came to live with my foster family, but I have really come out of my shell since I arrived.
Brookline took me to a vet where I had a tumor removed and spay surgery. Now that I am recovered I am a happy little girl that loves following the other dogs around, long walks and long naps! I am eating well again and have never had an accident in the house. I am deaf but you would hardly know it.

My foster mom hates to give me up but it’s time for me to find my own family. She says the best family for me would be one with other dogs that are low energy.  Also ideal would be someone retired or that works from home a lot. I love my people!

Looking’ good!

Bippa continues to be an absolute angel. She sleeps well and is starting to eat well. She’s very Velcro and loves to be in whatever room I’m in. If I am up and down the steps all day long so is she. She has been my easiest foster. Once her medical issues are cleared, she will make a wonderful addition to any home.

Brookline had a new addition today with the arrival of sweet Bippa to her foster home. She is a beautiful girl and so tiny. She didn’t want to do the steps in my house so I carried her up them. All went well meeting my resident dogs. She is napping now. Her vet exam is Monday where they will evaluate her and talk about removing the low-hanging growth/tumor from her lower belly and spaying her.
