Tully Chocolate Labrador Retriever Male, 2 Years Olds

October 3, 2018

This is Tully.  Tully has had quite a ride in his short 2+ years. This crazy dude has an appetite for action! His motor is always running and energy is not something he lacks!

He knows all of the basic commands, he loves to please but can get distracted easily, that’s something we are working on.

Tully is getting along well with his step sis Ellie and his step bro and Brookline Alum, Elvis. Although he has a hard time understanding that they are not as young and energetic as he is.

Tully walks very well on leash and seems to do rather well off leash, if he ranges he will come back when called, however we have not had a squirrel or deer encounter. Speaking of encounters, his first with our cat Monkey didn’t go well, let’s just say she lived up to her name and did some gymnastics to get away, so a home without a cat would be best. Tully isn’t extremely treat motivated but has enjoyed some counter surfing (we’re working on that too). His “bedtiquette” is better than most as he will hop to the floor if you insist. He is also house broken and crate trained. If you’re looking for that jogging or hiking partner Tully is your guy!

He is GWK (though definitely a jumper, and will easily knock down little ones), GWC and supposedly GWD, though he has never lived with one.

Tulley needs an active family or couple or person who can give him lots of exercise and are willing to work on his manners.  He wants to please, and is very food motivated, and so very trainable.

He does not do well in a noisy, crowded environment, and will react by barking.  He would do better in a more rural setting and it would be nice if his new family was around a bit more than not, given the long hours he has spent in a crate.
